Ready to Paint
Made from Finger Jointed Pine, also known as FJ Pine, Porta’s Primed FJ Pine is pre-coated with two coats of a specially developed water-based primer that appears matte white. The timber is sanded between coats of primer and is ready to finish with a top coat of acrylic or solvent based coating in your preferred gloss grade – matt, semi-gloss or full gloss.
There is no need to apply an undercoat – saving you time and money. Just select your paint colour and apply!
About Primed FJ Pine
FJ Pine is made from individual pieces of Clear Pine that have interlocking fingers. The timber is joined together with adhesive – providing FJ Pine with enhanced strength and stability. The interlocking fingers create a neat zig zag effect at the join.
Applications
Contours in Primed FJ Pine are perfect as a feature in residential or commercial projects.
They are suitable for both vertical and horizontal applications in any internal residential or commercial space. They can also be used to add a high-end finish to joinery, internal doors, accent walls and concealed doorways.
Contours can also be used to clad bathroom and kitchen joinery, entertainment units, bedheads, dining tables, and internal doors. For a stunning feature, Contours can be used to create concealed doorways for a beautiful finish.
Suitable for Curves
Contours in Primed FJ Pine are suitable for curves down to a 1000mm radius. For tighter curves, down to a 300mm radius, curved wall beads are available for selected profiles.

Porta Primed Pine is manufactured from FJ Clear Pine which provides enhanced strength and stability. Primed Pine is very easy to work with standard tools and it holds nails and screws very well.
