The Brief
Bayside-based retail store, Bungalow Trading presents a cornucopia of the interesting and the beautiful – from fashion to homewares and inspired decorator items and accessories.
Recently, stylist and owner, Anna Chisholm decided Bungalow needed a new look to complement the unique and fresh mix of products it ranged.
Anna felt a white-walled interior for this boutique shop just didn’t reflect its character. With a curve element in mind, Anna selected Porta Contours timber lining boards to bring life and warmth into the space.

The Design
The design cleverly uses curved elements to bring the space together, with arched doorways, a rounded counter and the rippled Porta Contours Riverine profile. The soft curves of the Riverine profile create an undulating effect.
Porta Contours Riverine was used in the bedding display, change rooms and central counter.

Manufactured by Porta out of Tasmanian Oak the Contours panelling creates a gentle pattern and texture and introduces a soft play of light – an ideal backdrop for beautiful homewares.
Being made from Tasmanian Oak, the Contour surfaces are both durable and beautiful.
