A new café in Perth needed to create a fresh and playful interior that would stand apart but still have an enjoyable atmosphere.
Through using colour, texture and shape, the designers created a a delightful interior that reflected the venues name, 8 Yolks.

Porta Contours Riverine timber linings boards were painted, cut and layered. The paneling is painted white and yellow and cut in curved drip like shapes, creating a cheerful space.
Through layering the panels, the design incorporates back lighting which adds an interesting play of depth and shadow. The layering is further enhanced by the soft rippled effect created by the curved profile.
Being made from solid Tasmanian Oak hardwood – the front counter will stand up to the wear and tear of a busy café.
